Trey Murphy lead the way for the New Orleans Pelicans with 31 points in a 113-105 win against the New York Knicks on Saturday, April 7 at the Smoothie King Center.

Murphy continued to look more like an experienced player as he smoothly knocked down three three-pointers, and was eight-of-eight from the charity stripe.

Herb Jones had three huge blocks in the ball game, which now gives him a total of 100 career blocks. After the game, Murphy said Jones should be first-team all-defense.

The ball game was tied up at the half, and then even tied up after the end of the third quarter. But the Pelicans took control in the fourth to narrowly win the game by eight points.

C.J. McCollum was huge, scoring 23 points with five boards and four assists. And of course Brandon Ingram was solid with 18 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.

The Pels are now in eighth place in the Western Conference standings with only one game left to play, and that will take place on Sunday on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves. With one game left in their regular season, the Pelicans could finish anywhere between 5th and 9th place.
