What is the #ReverseBoycott?

Let me catch you up on what happen last night in the MLB around the Oakland A's.

The Oakland Athletics' fans have decided to attend home games and express their frustration with ownership after it was announce a Nevada bill was passed to provide public funds for the team to build a stadium in Las Vegas, NV.

The fans respond with pettiness, and I am here for it.

I gotta a lot of respect for A's fans to go out their and  support their team. They just want an owner who is willing to invest and build a team the fanbase can get behind. As a Pelicans fan, I hear this all the time: Pelicans should move the team to Seattle or Las Vegas. Gayle should sell the team. She has no interest or knowledge of running a basketball team.

yada yada yada.

The buzz surrounding the fanbase has trickle down to the club house and now the Athletic's are currently on a 7 game win streak!

This is why sports are the best. Fans can make an impact to a game or a team. We surrender our emotions and reactions, good or bad, to a game we love. We appreciate players for their talents and effort to represent the city we're from. The name on the front isn't just a title- it's a symbol, it's pride, it's a reflection of the people who support the team that tells a story of where we come from. It tells the opponent to respect us and we're gonna show you how we play!

I gotta admit I've said before that the Athletic's were the worst team in baseball. Even betting against them no matter what the odds were. Good for the team to rally behind the fanbase during this win streak. The fans who still want to enjoy baseball in Oakland deserve to see some effort and passion while the team is still there.
