Tulane lands a massive OL recruit!

Class of 2027 offensive lineman Caleb Unger (@caleb_unger74), 6-3/305, out of Madison, MS, has committed to the Green Wave.

He is a quick, powerful, and technically sound technician with excellent leverage, balance, and interior-line instincts who has developed into one of the top interior prospects in Mississippi. Unger is a high-floor, high-character leader who earned early starting reps and has been a centerpiece of MRA's offensive line success in a competitive MAIS program.

Leverage & Technique: Plays with a consistently low pad level and finds leverage against bigger defenders. Excellent hand position and footwork allow him to sustain blocks and stay engaged.

Quickness & Movement: Quick, powerful, and diligent, beats defenders to spots laterally, climbs effectively to the second level, and mirrors with grace in pass protection. Shows outstanding balance and body control.

Pass Protection: Sound technician who is aggressive and rarely gives ground. Uses quickness and hand placement to neutralize rushers.

Run Blocking: Explosive off the snap; creates lanes and finishes with power. Dominant in gap/power schemes.

Intangibles: High football IQ, relentless motor, and leadership qualities. Worth a look at center due to his quickness and awareness.
