Takeaways

The Pacers got to see what a rested Pelicans team looked like. What a difference being well-rested looks like.

Brandon Ingram was cooking all night and was on fire.

Trey Murphy III has found his shot and it is a beautiful thing to see again!

Jose Alvarado was back from his three-game suspension, and his energy was much needed.

This was a solid performance defensively from the Pelicans, and even when they were up by over 20 points, they never slacked off.

Tyrese Haliburton had a terrible game, and a lot of credit goes to the Pels' defense for that.

New Orleans does not play at home against until Wednesday, March 13.

He also scored 22 points in 29 minutes of play. * Free throw shooting was huge for the Pels as they shot 90% from the charity stripe. Zion went 11-13 and Dejounte Murray was perfect going 11-11. * Trey Murphy III was out because of tendinitis in both his legs. Murray was back starting in the lineup .
