Juvenile Celebrates 25 years of 400 Degreez & Back that Azz Up

25 years ago, Juvenile releases one of the ultimate bangers of my generation. Back that Azz Up is the one song that will immediately take you back to where you were when you first heard this song. I remember the days getting home from school and turning on MTV to watch TRL. Something that this generation doesn't understand on how we had to listen to music back in the day. You either had the small CD player/radio your mom got you from Walmart, a portable CD player you would bring to school with you along with a case with all of your CDs in it. There was an anti-skip feature for a smooth listen while it was in your pocket. Fast Forward today, I can tell my speaker to play this song on command. Back That Azz Up currently has 169,731,491 streams on Spotify.

Yeah, there was some songs in the past that featured lyrics similar on the topic, but they were never as RAW as Juvenile and the Cash Money crew were able to produced. I am not from New Orleans, but I can appreciate the influence and the impact it had to the people and the city.

Juvenile celebrates the 25th anniversary by announcing a show at the Howard Theatre in D.C. on June 14th.

Juvi looks to be living his best life in the Nation's Capital.

Juvi looks like he on his senior trip touring DC. I love this photo. You can tell he is just soaking it all in and being in the moment. S/O Juvenile.

Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty, Juvenile, & Mannie Fresh collabing on Tiny Desk is gonna be must see. CANT WAIT!!!

Kansas City Chiefs 🏹 #ChiefsKingdom TE - Tulane Green Wave Johnny Pascuzzi- jpazzedout 6-4/241 Scouting Report: Athletic tight end with good size and receiving ability who played at Tulane after time at Iowa. Brings the Iowa tight end pedigree with solid blocking fundamentals and improving receiving production in spread offenses. Local Kansas City area product adds extra intrigue for the Chiefs. Strengths Athleticism and size: Impressive combination of height, length, and speed for the position. Good vertical and explosiveness allow him to win in the red zone and down the seam. Reliable hands and route running: Sure-handed catcher who can make contested catches. Shows natural feel for finding soft spots in zones and separating in man coverage. Blocking tenacity: Iowa-developed blocker who plays with good leverage and effort. Willing to engage defenders in the run game and as a pass protector. Football IQ and versatility: Smart player who understands scheme and can align in-line, in the slot, or split wide. High character and special teams contributor potential. Competitive motor: Plays hard on every snap with a team-first attitude and physicality after the catch. Scouts see him as a high-upside camp invitee with the tools to earn a roster spot as a developmental tight end who can contribute on special teams immediately while continuing to develop his receiving game.
