- This was a sad loss because the Pelicans fought until the very end. They also had the ball to take a three-pointer at the end to tie up the game but they turned the ball over instead.
- Brandon Ingram is playing for a max contract and he deserves every penny.
- Brandon Boston Jr. has been a huge boost and a great player for the Pels while so many of his teammates are injured.
- It was nice to finally see a healthy LeBron James and Anthony Davis play in Nola. In warm-ups, James did some incredible dunks, which had the entire SKC cheering.
