- The XFL is back! Again… again.
- Vegas, Seattle, Orlando, St. Louis, San Antonio, Arlington, Houston & DC. 3 texas teams huh?
- Fun fact: no active nba player has ever faced the kings in the playoffs
- The Celtics have emerged as a team trying to trade for KD. Question is: would he agree to go there? Lol couldn’t say that with a straight face
- Abolish Angel Hernandez
- Prayers to John Metchie!
- NFL+ is here. Just another streaming service to confuse everyone. Is the cable bundle about to make a comeback because these streaming costs are getting out of hand

- Those New Soldier field renovations are amazing
- Pistons brought back their green throwbacks!! They’re perfect!
- MLB trade rumors starting to heat up. Can’t wait to see the best players on the market somehow find their way to the Yankees or Dodgers….. baseball
- Chris Carson retiring from the NFL is sad. Injuries are a real mf
- Julio signing with Tampa… that offense will be terrifying for 3 games
- Mike Thomas won’t be on PUP long. WR1 is back and the league should be concerned
- Dennis Allen says Taysom’s role will be similar in that he’ll still get SOME snaps at QB, and uneducated fans will scream that that’s a bad idea
- Saints signed Malcom Brown for RB depth. God help us
- It’s only Tuesday… how about the news take chill pill eh?
- Mike hates Jeff Duncan
- Mike Trout diagnosed with a rare back condition. The baseball Gods are cruel
- Yankees trade for Andrew Benintendi. The rich get richer
- George Pickens is going to be the next great Steelers wide receiver. Book it
- There’s a clause in Zion’s contract that says he has to keep the sum of his weight and body fat percentage under 295. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen that before
- Eli Apple getting embarrassed by Chase in camp. Seems like they’re both in mid season form
- DK Metcalf getting his new deal before Drew Lock tanks his stats is a brilliant move
- And just like that, Kyler’s study clause is removed from his contract. I guess public ridicule can lead to anything
- It was a hell of a run kwon!!
- I saw that pic of Derrick Henry in the Eddie George tank top. I’m still not convinced Derrick Henry is a real person. Good lord
- Shohei was asked about potentially being traded. Let’s just take a minute and think about the absurdity of the potential haul that would require. The biggest haul in sports history
- Here come the Mariners
- Aaron Judge needs to be urine tested IMMEDIATELY this is getting out of hand

A quick share helps us a lot!

After a weather-delayed kickoff, loyal NOLA Gold fans were treated to a rollercoaster of a match that ended with a well-earned 44-36 victory over the Seattle Seawolves at the Shrine. This win moved NOLA Gold into 3rd place in the Major League Rugby Eastern Conference standings. Coach Danny Lee said of the team's response to the delay, “We just had to control the controllables. Once we told the boys the definitive time for kickoff, we had a plan ready to go. In terms of game plan, we had to be a little bit more direct, and we had to kick and adapt quickly.” NOLA Gold set the tone early, taking an initial 3-0 lead thanks to a steady penalty kick from Dorian Jones. Though Seattle answered quickly with a try to make it 7-3, the Gold launched into a dominant scoring stretch. Isaac Te Tamaki powered across the try line to ignite the offense, followed by back-to-back tries from the relentless Jonah Mau’u. Jones continued to add points from the tee, stretching the Gold’s lead to 27-7. Just before halftime, the Seawolves found a breakthrough and scored at the buzzer, narrowing the margin to 27-14. However, NOLA emerged from the locker room with purpose. Xavier Mignot wasted no time reestablishing momentum with a try that pushed the lead to 34-14. Seattle fought back with intensity, capitalizing on back-to-back tries to bring the score to 34-24. But NOLA responded with composure, as Jones added another penalty to keep the visitors at bay, 37-24. The closing stages of the match saw both teams exchanging blows. Seattle’s try was met by a decisive moment from Joe Taufete’e, who muscled through defenders for a critical score. Luke Campbell’s conversion extended the lead to 44-29. Though Seattle scored one final try at the buzzer, it wasn’t enough. With a final score of 44-36, NOLA Gold walked away with a crucial five-point win in front of a roaring home crowd and strengthens their postseason hopes with a firm grip on 3rd place in the East. Their next match will be on the road against the San Diego Legion on May 4th at 4:00 PM CT. For tickets and more details, please visit www.nolagoldrugby.com
